Charles J. Westcott Founder, Owner
Charles J. Westcott, who people call Charlie, started his career in 1981. Since then, he’s helped affluent people (and closely-held corporations) develop and implement financial strategies. He also worked for a time as a wholesaler for a firm selling products and services to brokers across the United States. As an independent agent, he has frequently qualified for “Top of the Table” with Million Dollar Round Table and has served as a keynote speaker and advisory counsel member for top insurance companies.
Throughout his career, Charlie has maintained his passion for understanding people’s financial needs and concerns. He knows no situation is the same, but that many situations have similar puzzle pieces, even if they fit together differently. He takes his understanding of financial planning and product knowledge into every client meeting but listens with an open mind to each person’s story. He knows what a difference that can make to people who are concerned about their financial and retirement income situation. Outside of work, Charlie lives with his wife, Dawn, in Millerton, New York, and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Alexander Westcott, Financial Advisor
Alexander Westcott, Charlie’s son, has learned his father’s business from a young age and has now joined it as a financial advisor. Like his father, Alexander prides himself on putting his clients’ needs first, every time. He knows clients need retirement strategies tailored to their individual lives. That’s why he builds strong, communicative relationships with his clients. It’s also why he continues to learn about wealth management and retirement income planning. He wants his clients to worry about how they’re going to spend their retirement itself—instead of worrying about how they’re going to spend their money in retirement. Alexander attended Villanova University School of Business where he majored in finance and minored in business law and corporate governance. He is licensed for life insurance in five states and he also holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses. Alexander lives with his wife, Alexis, and their rescue dog, Denver. When he’s not at work, he enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.
